Service Agreement
By authorizing Gulf Coast Exteriors LLC to commence services, the
Client agrees to be bound by these legally binding terms and
conditions.
1. Scope and Limitations
Gulf Coast Exteriors performs professional-grade exterior cleaning as
scoped in the original quote. The Client acknowledges that pressure
washing is a restorative process. It is not an
alternative to repair, painting, or concrete resurfacing. Our priority
is to kill and remove organic growth including mold, mildew, algae,
and general muck buildup.
Services provided include:
-
Driveway Cleaning: Pressure washing for concrete
and paved surfaces
-
Walkways & Sidewalks: Safe cleaning of
pedestrian areas
-
Patio & Paver Cleaning: Effective cleaning for
patio surfaces and pavers
-
House Siding: Soft wash cleaning for vinyl, wood,
brick, and other materials
-
Deck & Fence Cleaning: Material-specific
cleaning for various surfaces
-
Gutter Cleaning: Complete gutter and downspout
maintenance
-
Roof Soft Wash: Low-pressure roof cleaning to
remove algae, moss, and lichen
-
Window Cleaning: Interior and exterior window
cleaning
-
Building Cleaning: Commercial building exterior
maintenance
2. Liability Release: Pre-Existing Conditions & Neglect
Gulf Coast Exteriors LLC is strictly not liable for
damage or defects inherent in the property's current condition,
whether visible or concealed, including but not limited to:
Organic Degradation
Removing years of accumulated muck and grime from wood, bricks, or
siding may expose underlying rot, spalling mortar, or crumbling
concrete. We are not responsible for the structural integrity exposed
by the cleaning process.
Oxidation & Shadow Stains
Algae removal often exposes uneven UV fading (oxidation). This is a
substrate defect, not a cleaning failure. Permanent "shadows" from
removed biological growth are not our liability.
Roof Stains (Gloeocapsa Magna)
Our soft wash process kills black algae streaks (gloeocapsa magma). In
severe cases, the roof may be permanently etched or stained beneath
the algae. The cleaning reveals—it does not repair—this damage.
Water Intrusion
It is the Client's sole responsibility to ensure all
windows, doors, and electrical outlets are locked, sealed, and
weatherproofed prior to our arrival. We are not liable for interior or
exterior water damage resulting from faulty seals.
3. Client Preparation and Utilities
Water Supply
The Client must provide an unobstructed, on-site, functional water
source with a minimum 4 GPM flow rate for the
duration of the service.
Site Access & Clearance
The Client must clear the work zone (driveway, patio, decks) of all
vehicles, furniture, potted plants, and decorations
at least 20 feet prior to arrival. We are not liable
for damage to items left in the active splash or chemical runoff zone.
4. Chemical Applications and Environmental Risk
Gulf Coast Exteriors utilizes professional surfactants and sanitizing
agents (sodium hypochlorite blends) necessary to treat organic stains.
Plant Life
While we employ rigorous pre-rinse and post-rinse protocols along with
overspray mitigation, delicate flora may be affected by chemical
runoff. We are not liable for landscape damage that is not the direct
result of gross negligence.
Pets and Humans
All people and pets must remain indoors during chemical
application.
We are not liable for acute or delayed reactions to chemical exposure
resulting from Client interference or failure to follow safety
guidelines.
5. Inspection, Acceptance, and Payment
The 24-Hour Post-Wash Window
The Client has 24 hours from completion to inspect
and report cleaning discrepancies (e.g., missed spots, chemical
streaks).
All claims made after 24 hours are waived, and the
work is deemed accepted and "paid in full."
Payment Terms
-

10. Limitation of Liability

aging of surfaces
